About the Madison Arts Center
The Madison Arts Center is located at 110 East 4th Street in Madison, Nebraska. This magnificent building, built in 1913, served as the First Presbyterian Church until 2006. A local volunteer preservation organization purchased the building in 2007 and has been working toward rehabilitating it into a facility to promote appreciation of the arts and provide educational opportunities.
Mission Statement:
The Madison Arts Center, in partnership with the community, enriches the quality of life for all ages by providing educational opportunities, presenting art forms, and promoting artists of all mediums. Its intention is to become a creative force, an educational resource and promote the economic vitality of the arts in the Madison area.
